First of all, I must make a confession. This is not a finished page, but it's not really intended to be though. In fact I hope this page can never be considered finished. Being the Multimedia Showcase that it is, I hope to be constantly adding new and exciting things to this page. At the current moment, all that's here is one photo album and some MIDI files. I hope to be adding more photo albums throughout the year of band camp, competitions, various other SRHS bands, etc. I also hope to have some WAV's of our actual band performing soon. If you are a member of a SRHS band and have something to add to this site, please contact me! Enjoy the show ...
At the moment, there aren't a great many midi files here for your listening pleasure. But there are a few, and here they are. As far as I know, these are all in public domain, so feel free to re-use them and such.
Birdland - Not the arrangement we're playing this year, but it's pretty good anyway. It is closer to the original version than we play.
You Can Call Me Al - Here again, not the same arrangement, but this one's pretty close. It's been edited to reflect marching band instrumentation. This song was played by the band about 4 years ago.
Spinning Wheel - Played by the band last year as part of the Blood Sweat and Tears show, this is a fair arrangement of this song.
Georgia Tech - One of the band's favorite stand pieces, this one's pretty accurate.
Chant- Almost exactly how it's played by our band, here's another stand favorite.
Independence Day Soundtrack Highlights- Not our version, but still pretty good.
Chorale and Shaker Dance- We are planning to play Chorale and Shaker Dance II for Spring Trip 2000 in symphonic band.
Second Suite in F- First Movement The SRHS symphonic band is also playing this, but not for Spring Trip.
